Be a fun, enjoyable, respectful bunch of artists to work with. We plan to bring social awareness and a joyous, bonding theatrical experience. Our mission is to have audiences leave the theatre with a stronger sense of self, empathy and openness. We commit to playing weird.

History of Peachy Keen Productions:
Peachy Keen Productions was founded in 2013. The company was created initially to be a voice for Sydney Hayduk and Christy Taronno. It was to give them an outlet to give their keen attitudes a peachy time to work together. Hayduk and Taronno met at the University of Winnipeg as production students and wanted an opportunity to showcase there built up, unused creativity onstage. By August 2014, Peachy Keen Productions had finished their first summer touring the Canadian Fringe Festival Circuit hitting three cities with Hayduk and Taronno’s first original show, Bizarro Obscure.

Bizarro Obscure found great success with the Winnipeg Fringe crowd. That success is attributed to the excitement we bring and the need to spread positive messages through our stories. The impetus to continue creating shows under Peachy Keen Productions is to carry on our initial success, but more importantly give a voice for social change.

Peachy Keen began as a way to uncover messages our team deems integral for a modern audience to consider.

Today, Peachy Keen is primarily a politically charged company that continues their search for the perfect manifesto.

candyland (Peachy Keen’s newest work) merge’s: Jellyfish are Immortal, and Jellyfish are Immortal Returns into a production that stands on its own. ‘Planet Earth’ meets ‘The Wizard of Oz’ meets the movie ‘Her’. Showcasing our current environmental degradation with our connection to self,  and of course, love.

Peachy Keen Productions is very lucky to live, breathe and play on Treaty 1 territory, the land of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples and the birth place and the homeland of the Metis Nation. We offer our most sincere appreciation for the caretakers of this land.
